Thorn Chain informs me that the Transworld Halloween Retailers Expo will be moving to Las Vegas next year, and going from a weekend conference to a weekday one, too.
As such, I think it behooves me to attend this year, with my portfolio in one hand and a stack of business cards in the other, as I kept telling myself I would for the last three years.
Only question remaining is, lacking any actual halloween or catalogue imagery, what should I put in my portfolio? The Bayou Ghost stuff seems wise, but....I really do need to start thinking about my imagery in terms of the business it could bring me.
I mean, all those half-naked photos of women ought to prove I'm competent to photograph models and fashion, but....

Date: 13 Feb 2007 04:04 (UTC)It's an idea I've been semi-seriously contemplating for three or four years, but I've yet to actually TAKE any pictures that could be used for this, and now I've got two weeks.
So, really, the point of this post was self-admonishment and a plea for input.
