So, apparently the package was sent to me through Fresh Step's Adopt A Shelter Cat program. When I said that it was from Clorox before, that was because whoever sent it to me put in "Clorox" as the name of the gift-giver.

I'm guessing the trail is going to go cold here. I can't decide if this is some kind of sick joke or someone's way of encouraging me to get a pet. The fact that they used the name of a corrosive detergent inclines me to think it was meant maliciously. Of course, I only know of one person who would go out of her way to be mean to me, but I haven't heard from her in quite a while, so I can't imagine what would spark that. Besides, the girl I knew only ever reacted. This seems far too proactive to be her.

At any rate, if you want a free litterbox and a bag of litter, you should go sign up:

... That's odd, even for a 'sick joke.'

By the way, tried sending you an email, but got a failure notice. Having any email troubles?

Yes, I'm in the process of switching providers. Send it to aspects (dot) org, same stuff goes before the at sign.

It's definitely odd. If it wasn't for the "clorox" I'd think it was somebody's way of prompting me to buy a cat.
