amulThanks to Transmit 3.5, I'm currently downloading a local copy of my website and simultaneously copying it over to the new web host. I currently have over 1900 files left to copy, and I've been doing this since 6pm.
I hate it when my computer is doing all kinds of thinking and I'm just sitting here. I've vacuumed the apartment, finished a chapter in Real World Camera Raw, rearranged all the boxes lying everywhere and now I'm updating keywords on all my photos. (f)AD is in the next room, working on her next 'zine. Lacunae Diving Bunny is visiting another one of her playmates in another city, Prefers Sacrifice is working, last I checked, and Blue Beard is in Wisconsin with his kids.
If I thought I was capable of the multitasking, I'd totally be listening to an audiobook right now.
(f)AD just came into the room to make herself dinner. "I'm always tempted to hover over the computer like that while it's making all those calculations. Do you think back when computers were the size of rooms and took days to make simple calculations, did they also sit there and wait?"
Well, I can't picture them going out to play frisbee....
