amulI took a walk, the weather was nice. I went out and took photos, and when as I was walking home I saw a man screaming into an intercom.
"He won't let me in because, what, I live here? Just bring down the bags, Nancy. My grandmother is dead. Just bring down the bags, I've already made arrangements."
And then he pounded his clenched fist into the intercom, roaring in frustration. "Just bring down the fucking bags."
All these little dramas, so all-encompassing when we're in the middle of it. So insignificant when we're walking past them. You choose the things you care about, and then you care about them.
