Hey, I totally forgot I had one of those school holiday things. A rare perk that goes with being a total drain on the economy.

So, three questions for you all:

1) Does anyone who reads my LJ live within a 5-12 hour drive of Chicago in a city I've never been to?

2) If so, can I come visit?

3) Does anyone in Chicago want to come with? Do you have a friend you haven't visited in a while who lives a bit of a drive from here?

I need to drive somewhere, anywhere.

How is March 22nd - 28th?

Would you be interested in posing for me while I'm visiting?

That's a fairly large chunk of time, but it's not bad. My kids don't have their Spring Break until April. (Do you suppose colleges, universities and other arenas of "higher education" plan their Spring Breaks so that they don't coincide with the K-12 crowd? Just a thought that occurred to me.)

Stupid but pertinent question: will you need a place to stay, or do you plan on reserving a hotel room nearby?

As for posing? Sure. I have never posed for anything but the typical Olan Mills photos, so I'm surprised you'd ask.

I didn't nessecarily mean the entire week, just that date range.

As for the Spring Break thing, I dunno. K-12 uses a different system to count out their semesters, though, so I assume it's just half way through each. None of the colleges in Pittsburgh have the same Spring Break.

Ahh, OK. I may or may not be employed by then (I'll be talking to temp agencies next week), just so you know. The weekend should be completely open, though. Philly is also 45 minutes to an hour away from here as well, so when my area of Delaware gets boring you could always zip up there and check things out. (Definitely lots of regular goth-industrial nights. Heck, there's the Official US Premiere Party for the movie Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King on the 22nd. Kristanna Loken will be there.)

Hrm. Just found out a friend of mine is going to be visiting ME, so I guess that cancels my plans for leaving. Definitely won't have time for the 24 hours roundtrip drive.
