So, it turns out that Spank Fest is the same weekend as Gaian Mind. This brings into sharp relief a growing problem that I've been having.
Spank Fest is a kinky camping event, and Gaian Mind is a psytrance camping event. SF is located relatively nearby, and a few people I know from the Midwest and Chicagoland area will be there, including Blushes Hopefully (whom I went out on my first date with earlier this week). GM is near Pittsburgh, relatively speaking, and will have a bunch of my Pittsburgh crew there, whom I haven't seen in months.
I like to dance, and haven't spent enough time in my life doing it. A similar statement could be made about the stuff happening at Spank Fest.
I have too many hobbies, too many interests, and trying to choose between them all takes away vital time from working, which wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't self-employed. In exploring these interests, I have made too many friends to be able to see them all.
I'm tempted to say that old friends should come first, but perhaps that's why I haven't made many new friends in Chicago.
