amulDefiantly Vocal just called to share this cute story!
DV and the twins (2 years, five months old) were watching TV, when a dark skinned guy* comes on, and suddenly Child Two points at the screen and says, "Bhaiya!" ** Then C2 turns to DV and asks, "Where Bhaiya?"
She goes over to her toy chest (apparently there's a set of action figures that have all been named after the people they like best) and C2 brings over my doll, saying "Want Bhaiya!"
The little turd! She wouldn't even look me in the eye last time I came to visit! I spent hours trying to get her to say my name and she wouldn't even look at me!
DV calls to share the cuteness and tries to get her to talk to me, but as always, she was too amazed that I could fit into the phone. I can't imagine what she thinks goes on in that speaker.
* = (Gary Dorden from CSI, "Very attractive man, " Anne says)
** = (that's their name for me, it means "brother" in Hindi)
