I feel like you're being a smidge hypocritical, saying you identify with Kiwi, but also telling me (http://amul.livejournal.com/537327.html) to let the waters pull me where they would.

Here's how those two things aren't actually hyprocritical:

I understand Kiwi's desire.

I, however, kept expecting, as soon as I realized what he was doing, that things would go horribly horribly wrong. The fact they (sortof) didn't...tells me it's fiction.

But I feel the dream.

All I know is, when I push and prod and pull and FORCE life to hand me what I want...I get it. But it hurts like hell or I lose it in agony right after I get it. And if I do get to keep it, I realize later I would have gotten it anyway if I'd been patient and calm...it just would probably have hurt a lot less in the process.

The Universe is designed to say "Yes". But when you say "NOW!!" sometimes it slams that YES down on you harder than it otherwise would have.
