Website deovted to connecting volunteers and non-profit organizations. Map props to

I am motivated, me. My dishes are clean, too.
One particularly noteworthy organization I found was the Taproot Foundation, who, among varied other things, connects photographers with non-profit orgs/start-up businesses.
Edit: The thing with volunteering is, especially with a site like Volunteer Match, you don't even realize all the things that you want to do, until you start looking.
The boat races this weekend need Bridge Spotters to watch the race in an official capacity. If I wasn't going to Gen Con, I would totally be up for that! They even encourage you to bring a friend for company.

Trilogy, Inc is looking for volunteers to help tutor mentally ill adults in basic computer skills. One hour a week, and it's within walking distance of my place. I would never have thought that I'd even be interested in something like that.

Dude! There's a program to help low-income HIV/AIDs patients meet self-determined educational goals. Just two hours a week. I mean.....that's just cool.

Okay, I really need to stop now before I sign up for more than I can handle.
