amulPhotograph a box-shape of pins:

With a ruler next to it, showing one inch in width. Using a scale ruler, photograph the same box, with the scale set to various sizes. Because the scale ruler shows markings as if it were an inch (even though it may be, for example 1/4 inch = 1 inch), it will appear to the viewer that the size of the pins has changed.
In this way, I will be able to demo to people the difference between resolution and image dimensions.
Note: If you don't understand that, you really needn't worry about it. It's just me geeking out.
