...so you're doing the cold turkey thing? I'd like to know how this works out. I'm in the process of some kind of gradualized reduction, because a psychiatrist from a while back told me it was the only real way to quit. But it's hard, because I love nicotine so, so much...

I quit cold-turkey a few months ago and went straight for two months with no problems. Then the holidays hit me pretty hard.

I chewed on toothpicks and called up my friends and bitched at them about how much I wanted a cigarette. I really think that if it hadn't been for the holidays, I would have done it.
