unflavored posts
12 October 2005 14:44I noticed recently that I stopped flavoring my subject lines. The metaphoric meals I've been served lately simply lack incongruity, they aren't chocolate sauce poured all over hot dogs. They simply are what they are, and the many halves of my reactions have been blending well together. The taste of my life hasn't been fighting itself.
I told my therapist today about my idea about mailing the CDs back to My Ex. He examined my motives pretty thoroughly, and in the end stuck a notepad in my hand and told me to write the letter I want to put in with the CDs. He made me read it aloud, and told me to re-read it after I've finished packing the CDs but before I mail them, without including the note.
The letter did not contain the words I expected it to, and it bothers me that I am still capable of self-deception.
