    To Do
  • dinner with parents

They took me out to Indian, even though I told them I'd eaten it for more than half my week. Mom asked me what I had, and I recited the list. She asked where I'd bought it from, and I told her I made it myself. I spent half an hour telling her ways of making pakoras, and Dad even reminded her of the tandoori chicken I once made in front of her.

Is it too much to hope for, that next time we talk, she might remember I cook?

I mean, maybe someday?

Hah, boys don't cook.

I can't even type that with a straight face. :-)

Seriously tho, what do you do for pakoras?

If you use an electric beater, you get even lighter and fluffier pakoras! I've also been experimenting with combining corn fritter recipes from a Cajun cookbook I used to own with pakora batter. Sadly, I no longer own the book and cannot give details, except, you know, use corn.
