Excerpt from email:

Hey there [Professor],

I seem to have *finally* battled off the Death Flu, Son of Death Flu, AND Death Flu 3: Total Organ Failure.

Unfortunately, I've had to miss a great number of classes while battling these damn villains. Considering my class participation, and assuming I make a decent showing on the final exam, may I please please pretty-please-with-sugar -on-top may I PLEASE pass your course?
