Because I was gullible enough to take Warren Ellis seriously and thought it actually made for interesting reading.

Edit: six hours later Stupid public computers and their unpredictable shift-keys. That's the third time today a post has been ruined by a single-quote.

Opal Kitten and (f)AD have already started reminiscing about the year. I'm not ready, can't let myself join them. There's too much I'm still in the middle of to stop and review. A lot of that feelng probably has to do with the fact that I'm frantically printing & editing photots for my final. I really don't know how I would have done this without the laptop and ipod. Thanks the gods, I live in the future.

"I like living in the future." Right there, and I'm already slipping into the nostalgia I just said I don't have time for right now. Comfortingly Bouncy told me on Sunday that I got that phrase from her. I'd been using it for so long that I had convinced myself I had come up with it on my own. That's a bad habit of mine, one My Ex used to complain about all the time. I spent so much of the last two years making a concerted effort to stop that habit, but my brain is a devious and glory-hogging thing, tricksy in it's ways.

No, really. I'm not going to start reminiscing just yet. )

Okay, that's seriously more than I have time for right now.
