I've got this idea in head floating around, getting in the way of the Iggy Savage piece I'm trying to work on.
This intruder piece is a bit of erotica set in Shadowrun. A heavily cyber'd couple engaging in power exchange by giving over control of their various cyberlimbs to each other. They're not fucking, they're meshing. A key part of the story that I keep coming back to is when the man gives the woman control of his eyes. She'll gently pull his eyes across her body, directing his limbs to touch those parts that the automated feedback system indicates he responds to. She chooses what he sees, what he touches, and can feel his reaction.
He, in turn, controls her cyberlimbs. Increasing her adrenaline levels, speeding up her heart. He takes up the threads in the mesh leading to her ears, and generates counter waves to everything she hears, stripping away the sirens outside, the TV in the next room, even the air conditioning, until the only sounds she can hear is his heartbeat, his breath, and the sound of his rough hands brushing across her leather.
Also in this piece, I would introduce another piece of slang: serif. People talk serif, when they're discussing Plato or the latest medical procedures, but events can also be serif. You can even serif your apartment, with a little effort, and you might ought to, if you've got company coming over. Some guys, they talk serif, but they dress sans.
All of this is a horrible distraction from my actual priorities for the day.
