5 October 2005
Before people start complaining about these email excerpts, I'll quote an old thread on here first:
"Gee, Amul. Your LJ used to be so interesting to read. What happened?"
It became interesting to *live.*
And with that, I quote today's thought that keeps sticking with me:

And with that, I quote today's thought that keeps sticking with me:
It's strange how quickly my life's been moving since october started. Like I've finally hit the highway and I'm gunning it just a little harder than I need to, just to get away from that tangle of side streets and backways I was feeling so lost in all through August and September. It's not that I feel like i've accomplished nothing in the last two years, quite the opposite.
brief update
5 October 2005 23:01Hung out with the MySpacer I mentioned beforehand while printing the project I've been working on. Despite the fact that I had a crap load of work to do, I actually felt (as usual) like I was doing most of the talking.
At one point, she said to me, "Wow. Photography is much more time consuming than painting."
I wanted to gloat and cry all at the same time.
In other news, I am now officially and rather permanently cut off from Wednesdays watching TV with the ChiTribe. I was grumpy about the idea at first, but am now rather content with the commitment exchange. I'll miss the bonding and meal-sharing, but.....no. See, if I talk about it even a little, I'll end up talking about things that I'm contractually obligated not to discuss. Just know that I'm busy on Wednesdays from 7:30pm until around 10, and that it is a Good Thing Indeed. Besides, the primary attraction has always been to get my TV fix and I think I don't need it anymore. I may still try to call them up and see if they're still there at the end of the night.
