Songs I might try to sing at karaoke nights, which have a reasonable chance of being on the playlist:

"Bloodletting" - Concrete Blonde (rarely available)
"The Devil Went Down to Georgia" - Charles Daniel Band
"Behind Blue Eyes" - The Who
"Happiness is a Warm Gun" - The Beatles (need a better pick that is more within my pitiful range)
"Santeria" - Sublime (duet)
"Distance" - Cake

Songs and Bands they never seem to have:

She Wants Revenge
Oingo Boingo (except, strangely, for "Little Girls")
Tom Waits
Nick Cave

I know that some of those are available at Sidekicks.

For some reason, there's pretty much nothing available for Tom Waits. I know he has a thing about people imitating his voice, and that may well be the reason for that.

According to my sources, both Weird Science and Dead Man's Party are also available for karaoke for Oingo Boingo. In fact, I have Weird Science and Little Girls in my collection.

Yeah, unfortunately your karaoke night is on a weekend, and I'm spending so many of those out of town that it's rare for me to even be in Chicago during one. And when I am home for a weekend, I'm usually too wiped out to go anywhere.
