I wanna know / What you're thinking. / There are some things you can't hide. I wanna know / What you're feeling. / Tell me what's on you mind.

That's a silly idea I've had for weeks but kept forgetting to do. Today I'm looking for input. Please answer as many or as few questions as you wish to.

1. Why do you think people haven't started making more use of inline images (images the size of the text, like above)? Is it the same reason people don't fact-check or spell-check before posting, no matter how accessible we make those tools? Are those concepts related at all, do you think?

2. Why should I use the following sites rather than just keeping the files on my own website?

  • flickr

  • del.icio.us

  • myspace

3. If I wanted to start blogging to my website, with an RSS feed to LJ (and elsewhere), with phone posts, etc, what program would you reccomend? Right now, I'm thinking about using Wordpress, simply because Warren Ellis uses it and I like the way his is set up.

Todays schedule: edit 200+ photos. Stop off at library and read two magazines and pick up a book on CSS. Add blogging to my website, and install the latest update of photofolio.

Apparently, SETI@home worked, but the aliens can't see any reason to visit planet Earth. So now we're trying to entice them into buying some of our old crap, and dangling sex service ads in front of them like carrots.

I say again, WHAT THE FUCK? Why on earth would anyone think this is a good idea? Are we just trying to create a streaming signal out, so that they'll be able to tell it's non-random?
