Part of my fear reaction to speaking dreams aloud, is precisely that it is so hard for those listening to read the label or the fine print.

In this particular instance, the phrase spoken was "we might have time to include you at the end, and could use your help with those who've already signed up" and was interpreted as "I'd rather do it for you first."
