Widow: Pluto founder would understand demotion
The American astronomer who put Pluto on the solar system map would have accepted its demotion to non-planet status because he was a good scientist, his widow said on Thursday.

Personally, I think it's bullshit. Just because Pluto isn't in the "in-crowd" and orbits funny, they don't even want to consider it a planet. It's always been given a bad rep because of it's size, too. The other planets bully it already. Now we're officially labeling it a "dwarf planet?" And we've already found bigger dwarf planets? And they're all orbiting on the Dwarf Planet Lane? Sounds an awful lot like they've shoved Pluto to the back of the Short Bus.

You know that Dwarf Planet is just a nice way of saying frozen space poop, right?

Maybe we should name the whole region Pluto that would show the planets, even if it is a region of frozen space poop.

the coolest thing i ever had to do when i worked at the library was withdraw books that contained misinformation. one day, i sorted through all the dinosaur books and removed from our system any book that mentioned the brontosaurus, which no longer exists. i feel for the pages and clerks that are gonna have to clean up this mess.

AND, what about the mnemonic device?! My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nine...WHAT?! NO!...
