The 133tsp3ak of love
9 June 2008 19:36When typing flirtatious emails, I hesitate most over the emoticons. Is this a good place to ;) or would that be too forward? Will she find me tiresome if I *LOL* too often?
Come to think of it, when was the last time someone gave me such good text-message, that I was actually moved to *ROTFL*?
Other times, I'll try to carefully craft my messages to elicit the perfect emoticon from her. I'm not aggressive with this, mind you. I don't shoot for straight for the *lol* like an eager boy fumbling at bra straps. But I do like to tease out the occasional >.> with a surprisingly bold conversational shift.
( Excerpts from an email )
I've been unprecedentedly flirtatious since ShibariCon. What I find most weird is that every girl I've flirted with, once the flirting starts to look like it might get serious, says the exact same thing - sometimes before, and sometimes after I say it. Everyone says, I'm only interested if you promise to be open and honest with me.
Does that just mean that I'm finally meeting the right people? Or is there some deceptive sack of shit out there whose already done it with the entire planet?
PS - Stop calling them "vanilla." Start referring to them as Muggles.
